Here's an explanation for the new log entry form used to enter in runs and workouts:
1. Click on "Log new workout" on the top menu of the site (right below the running blog banner)
2. Select the category for your workout (Run/Bike/Walk/Exercise/Event)
- Right now there are only two workout types (Run and Excercise) if you want other categorys just let me know through a private message and I will add them.
3. If you wish for your entry to be put on the main page as a blog post, select the box "Publish as Blog post" You can see examples of this here: http://therunning...eadmore=21 and here: http://therunning...eadmore=16
4. Title: Enter a title for your workout - something simple like "run", "3 miler", "30 minute workout", etc. (This is a required field)
5. Distance: Enter a distance if running or time in minutes if working out. Put the number only here, so if you ran 3 miles, enter '3' or if you worked out for 90 minutes then enter '90'. (This is a required field)
6. Log Entry (optional) - This is like a workout diary, enter in thoughts about your run or workout. If you selected the "publish as blog post" option then this text will appear in the blog post made on the main page.
7. Time: (optional) (for running log only) - Enter in the time of your run, if you selected "publish as blog post" then this info will be used in the blog post made on the main page.
8. Pace (optional) (for running log only) - Enter in your run pace (if you don't know it then click on the "calculate" link to help find your pace) If you selected "publish as blog post" then this info will be used in the blog post made on the main page
9. Private event - select this if you do not want anybody else to see this log entry
10. Allow Registrations to event - This is used only for the "event" category. You can enter in a future event or race, selecting the "allow registrations" option lets users "sign up" for the event. There is an example of this here: http://therunning...=32#logins
After you have entered in the data, click on "save and publish" and then you are done!
