I'm constantly fiddling with the site to make it better, please feel free to post suggestions or report bugs.
The system the site is using to log new workouts was originally a calendar event system, which I have modified heavily for this site. Right now the workout logs are in a basic state, which means that everything functions on a basic level to record workouts. I'll make changes as I think of them or as suggestions come in from users of the site.
Some things on my to do list:
- Logs with text in the "diary" section of the log will be posted automatically as a new blog post
- Make it mandatory to select a workout category
- Try to slim down the new workout log form |

There is now an option "post to blog" when making a new workout log. Selecting this will make a new blog post on the front page with info put into the "log entry" section. I'm still messing around with this a little, ideas or comments about the format of the post would be appreciated.
An example of this in action is here:

It's now mandatory to select a category, this way recent runs and workouts are properly recorded. Probably should have done this in the first place... |

Just realized that users did not have the option to delete their own log entries. This has been changed, there is now a delete button next to the edit button when you are viewing one of your workout logs. Let me know if you are having problems with this.

Added 3 blog categories: Events, Support, and Workouts. This is for archiving purposes, so if somebody wanted to look at everything posted concerning support they could do that. Workout logs that are published are automatically assigned to the workout category. The others will need to be selected when you are writing a new blog post. |

Added a link in the user panel (left side of the screen) called "my workouts" where you can view the calendar with only your logs displayed. Also if at the calendar screen you can click the link "My: Workout Logs" to get to the same thing.

members that have "publisher" status (basically if I know you, then you have this) can now put html in their workout log entries.
Member's without publisher status cannot put html in their entries, this is for security reasons (to help prevent any kind of mysql injection hacks). |

for a specific member's posts only the feed is:

member id should be changed to the user id of the member you want to see, mine for example is 3, so my address would be

To find a member's user id, go to their profile page and look at the address, it should read http://therunningblog.org/profile.php?lookup=member id
